Augmentive Communication Information
Augmentive and Alternative Communication devices are helpful for students to supplement their speech to communicate effectively. It is not meant to replace speech for children who are able to speak. Augmentive and alternative communication devices can range from very high tech electronics to a printout of pictures and words, or even gestures with an understood meaning.
